Me, Mine and Honey

This pictures was taken about 8 months ago, before Clara developed severe camera aversion or the ability to annoy her sister to such an extent that my head thinks it just might be better off leaving my body before it explodes from there with such force that it takes out the whole neighborhood. And that just might happen soon. I implore anyone considering to add a 3rd child to their family, to please wait until the youngest child is 2 (or almost 2, you'll know the timing, trust me) and then decide if that is really a smart thing to do given the current status of craziness amongst the siblings. I'm not going to go into details in this post. I am not feeling emotionally stable enough to rehash all that goes on between them, and while it usually is just one of them causing the problems (because it's all about taking turns after all) there are many times that they do play together, or at least in the same room, well. I am just not focusing on those times at the moment.

So, for brevity's sake I just wanted to talk about Clara's name for Greta. She is able to (finally) say Greta. Or at least what we make out to be Greta, I'm pretty sure a stranger off the street couldn't figure that out, but why would a stranger off the street need to now, right? But more often then calling her Greta, Clara calls her "Honey". I'm not sure why, my best guess is that she has heard me call Greta Honey. "Honey, come here please. Come here please. Come here please, right now...I said right now! Stop hitting..."oh wait, I almost got away from myself for a minute. Anywhooooooo....So Clara calls her Honey. It started mostly when Greta was crying, and Clara would look at me, point to Greta and say "Honey". (And with the tantrums around here, that was often.) Now she almost always uses Honey to talk to Greta, call her, etc. In the car on the way home from the beach the other day we heard (about 6 bazillion times) "Honey, hand. Hand Honey. Hand please honey." Clara wanted Greta to hold her hand. Oh the cuteness. Almost makes up for the other moments...but I WON'T go there.
