Saturday Morning

It is in the single digits in Michigan right now, but it is only 12 here.  A warm up from 10 about 6:00 this morning.  (Ah yes, I was up at that time on a Saturday.)  I look outside and think of all of the things I would like to accomplish -- cleaning out some flower beds to change what's in there, fixing a bird/squirrel feeder, raking up pinestraw, etc.  I wish it was warmer so I could go out and do those things...I feel in the mood.  Then again, I wonder -- because I know myself -- am I just in the mood because I know ithat there is no way those things would be accomplished in the cold?  I'd like to say no, but....

So, I settle for vacuuming the living room and doing a load of laundry.  yuck.  Oh, and then a game or two of Mario Kart that we rented at Blockbuster last night...and of course now I'm blogging.  The laundry is calling to be put in the dryer, Clara is crawling around my legs fussy but won't sleep with an ear infection that I think is probably not being helped, teething.  Wait, she's rubbing her eyes.  She IS tired, I knew it.  Bye, wish me luck.  Then maybe I'll wash the kitchen floor.  Or, I could get on Facebook....
